In 1995, on rue Saint Honore and a few strides away from the place Vendome, hotel Costes opens its doors with a new vision of a modern and luxurious hotel. Celebrated decorator Jacques Garcia's concept would mirroe the great palaces of the Nineteenth century adding a contemporary twist to the Napoleon III style, blending opulence with the utmost attention to travelers' comfort.
The assortment of fabrics and precious woods, assembled in a perfectmix of dark tones, combined with the patio and an eclectic musical signature reflect the luscious ballet of the Parisian scene.
In 2001, perfumer Olivia Giacobetti imagines a fragrance dedicated to the hotel, rum vapours, fine dust and beeswax. The brown candle becomes the olfactory hallmark of Costes. The Home and Body perfume lines are developed around Parisian venues... Place Vendome, Trocadero, Avenue Montaigne and Boulevard Saint Germain.
